The Parish of St Mary & St Nicolas, Spalding

The Church from Spalding's Ayscoughfee Gardens
In The Deanery of Elloe West in the Diocese of Lincoln, the parish is part of the
Church of England. We work closely with the other two Anglican churches in Spalding -
St Paul's and St John the Baptist. Together with many other churches in the area we are
also actively involved in Churches Together in Spalding and Distrct, the Space 4U
Counselling Service, and Hope 2008. Our church has been in regular use for
Christian worship to the glory of God, and for service to the local
community, from at least 1284 AD - possibly earlier.
Where is the church?
You will find us in Church Street, close to Spalding town centre, alongside the
river. Follow the brown Tourist signs towards Ayscoughfee Hall, and the church stands
next to Ayscoughfee Gardens. Click for a Map of the parish.
Our Church & Parish
Tea and coffee is normally available 10.30 am - 11.00 am on Sunday in our church coffee lounge: a popular time for informal fellowship, and a chat with friends and visitors.
