New Vicar: Spalding Rectory Feoffees (as Patron of the Living of St Mary and St Nicolas) and The Bishop of Lincoln are pleased to announce that the Reverend John Bennett, who is currently Vicar of Sprowston with Beeston St Andrew in the Diocese of Norwich, has been appointed Vicar of St Mary & St Nicolas and Priest in Charge of St Paul, Spalding in the Elloe West Deanery, subject to CRB Disclosure.
John and his wife Mary hope to move to the parish in March and John will be instituted, inducted and licensed on Thursday 25 March 2010 in St Mary & St Nicolas Church, Spalding.

The church has been in regular use for Christian worship to the glory of God, and for the service of the local community, from at least 1284 AD - possibly earlier.
The church postcode is PE11 2RA. You will find us close to Spalding town centre, east of the river. Follow the brown tourist signs to Ayscoughfee Hall Museum & Gardens and the church is near by. 
Between morning services on Sundays, 10.30 - 11.00 am, refreshments are normally served in our coffee lounge next to the church.
