All are welcome to St Mary & St Nicolas Church
You will find a warm welcome, whether you live in the parish or are a visitor to the area. Please use the menu on the left side of this page to learn more about the activities and worship here at the Parish Church of St. Mary & St. Nicolas.
Our Vicar, Canon Tim Barker, is to be the new Archdeacon of Lincoln. His farewell service will be a united one at 10.45am on Sunday 19 July 2009, and he will start his new duties on 6 September 2009.
Our Church
The church building is open every day from 9 am until 4 pm. You will find us in Church Street, close to Spalding town centre, alongside the river. Follow the brown Tourist signs towards Ayscoughfee Hall, and the church stands next to Ayscoughfee Gardens.
Our church has been in regular use for Christian worship to the glory of God, and for service to the local community, from at least 1284 AD - possibly earlier. Click for a map

The Parish
We work closely with the other Anglican churches in Spalding: St Paul's and St John the Baptist. Together with local churches of many other demoninations, we are also actively involved in Churches Together in Spalding, the Space 4U Counselling Service, and Hope4Spalding
